La Felicità

I waited until Paris was a little empty (I went there at the end of July) to finally test the new address of the Big Mamma group within Station F (the biggest start-up incubator in the world!)): la Felicità.

Opened at the end of May, this gigantic Italian food market has been the ultra popular address of all Paris since then and therefore like any fashionable address in Paris, hours of queue were necessary which discouraged me a little! But in the middle of summer it was worth a try! And indeed, one Saturday evening, we arrived at 6 pm and no queue so we could settle quietly on the terrace (which is not huge, there is much more room inside). On the other hand even in the middle of summer, it is not necessary to arrive after 19h, one announced to a friend who arrived at 8 pm approximately 2h30 of queue to enter!!!!!!!!

Well, knowing that, I admit that the place keeps all its promises! It’s really sublime, the interior is very well decorated, with old wagons, works hung on the ceiling, a lot of greenery, and of course the different food stands, the aperitif bar, the pizzas, the pasta, the grill… The atmosphere is top, go take a look at the library located in height where one can work quietly or the toilets hyper design. Frankly, it’s superb!

And most important, the food at the top, as in all Big Mamma restaurants, fresh, homemade, superb products imported from Italy, frankly top.

We tested the cheese boards, cold cuts, pasta (with truffle and tomato, frankly the best tomato pasta I have eaten!), grill, desserts (strawberry pie!!!! Mmmmh). Everything was super good, products of excellent quality, small disappointment on the other hand on the cocktails, my spritz was very very diluted and without taste… As in other Big Mamma restaurants, and this is their strength, the value for money is excellent, we eat as in Italy for ultra correct prices. I’m a fan! And we really want to test everything, walking between the stands!

Small advantage, as there are many people, there can be quite a queue at the different stands, the app La Felicità can order and pay online and we warn you when the order is ready, just go and get it! I thought it was really nice!

La Felicità is open all day from Wednesday to Sunday, it must be very pleasant during the day, at noon with fewer people, but try your luck in the evening if you can arrive (very) early! So while managing to avoid the crowd, I highly recommend the Felicità!
